Leah, this one’s for you - you’ve talked about how much you like winter trees.

Hey - click the photo and view this one large - click the All Sizes button, then make sure you’re looking at Large (1024 x 683) - and look at the depth of field. It’s pretty neat - worth the few extra clicks.

that is neat! Did you post what camera you’re using? I’ve got a Canon XT and it seems that no amount of technology will help me take a great pic - just bad pics really fast.

I shoot with a Canon XT, too! My secret: take a million photos. One will be good. =) If you really want to get better, there are a lot of really neat sites out there that do nothing but talk about digital photography. Oh, and post-processing - you can make crappy pictures look great if you use an image editing program.
