musli
Every week, I take a quick trip to the store to grab some food for the hotel room (has a full kitchen). I get a per diem, and because I work noon-10, don’t really get to go out to dinner or lunch. Instead, I get things to cook or snack on in the hotel room and eat “meals” at the hospital.
One discovery I’ve just made – and will probably get every week until the project ends – is this granola-like stuff called musli. It’s amazing – has healthy-tasting stuff like oats, rice puffs, bran flakes – but also has dried bananas and oranges, and nuts in it. Yum!
Also, it’s funny – it’s Swiss, and the name of the product is “Good For You.” =)

ah muesli. you forgot the ‘e’. i learned about that in asia, since most of their tourists are from europe, austrailia and new zealand. if i wanted normal breakfast in touristy locations i could find pancakes and muesli, which i learned to love.
Okay, sister who’s supposed to be a linguist. This bag says “musli”, but there’s an umlaut over the “u” – which is where your “e” sound comes from. But I didn’t forget anything – it’s right there on the bag!
fair enough, but in my defense i didn’t see the teeny umlaut in your picture :) that is weird that they spell it both ways on the bad… one says muesli and the other gots the umlaut.
